About Us

We are happy to provide your loved one with caring psychiatric inpatient services, right here in the North State. Bringing health, hope and dignity to our community.

Compassionate, Patient-Centered Care for Adults in Crisis

Restpadd, Inc. in Redding, California, provides acute inpatient psychiatric services for adults aged 18 and older. Our 16-bed facility, licensed by the California Department of Health Care Services, offers a safe, structured, and supportive environment for individuals experiencing a mental health crisis.

At Restpadd, we take a trauma informed, individualized approach to care, focusing on each patient’s unique needs, capabilities, and recovery goals. Treatment plans are personalized and dynamic—developed in close collaboration with patients, families, and caregivers whenever possible. We believe that active family involvement and a strong support system play a critical role in achieving long-term wellness.

Our physicians, nurses, allied staff, and other professionals have many decades of experience in the field. We strongly believe excellent clinical care can be patient-centered and family friendly.

Clinical Excellence with a Human Touch

Our multidisciplinary team—consisting of experienced physicians, psychiatric nurses, social workers, therapists, and allied health professionals—brings decades of expertise to the care we provide.

We offer:

  • Comprehensive psychiatric evaluation

  • Individualized treatment and medication management

  • Crisis stabilization and symptom management

  • Coordinated discharge planning and aftercare support

Admission is determined by medical necessity and is appropriate for individuals who are unable to maintain safety or stability at home or in the community. Our primary goal is to stabilize patients as quickly as clinically appropriate, supporting their safe return to community life and ongoing recovery.

At Restpadd, we believe that exceptional mental health care can be both clinically sound and deeply compassionate. We are committed to creating a healing environment that respects the dignity, autonomy, and resilience of every individual we serve.
